At different points in our lives, we can all begin to feel overwhelmed. Everyday life often throws up challenges that can affect us emotionally, physically, and psychologically. Perhaps you are currently finding life difficult? You may be struggling with challenging thoughts, feeling anxious, sad, angry, fearful, overwhelmed, or having relationship difficulties? These are all normal feelings to experience, but if they have begun to impact how we live our everyday lives then it is likely without support these feelings escalate into an overwhelming sensation.
Accessing therapy can help to offer a space to talk and learn new skills to better cope in your everyday life. Therapy provides a safe environment to talk about anything you want. It is an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive and confidential setting. It creates a space to explore issues such as physical and mental health concerns, self-confidence, and self-esteem. We can work towards lowering the causing concern to allow a more positive outlook.
Therapy will also help you increase your self-awareness, reaching a deeper understanding about yourself, lift your self-esteem and develop new coping strategies. It can also help reduce high states of anxiety, you will learn how to lift low moods and aim to create an overall sense of wellbeing. You will begin to have a far more fulfilling experience of day-to-day life and have the new skills required to live well.

We have extensive experience within the areas of ADHD and Autism. We can provide support within the home, school, referrals for diagnosis and applications for EHCP.
We also offer additional information courses for parents of children with ADHD and Autism. This is for parents who wish to have a more in-depth understanding of your child’s diagnosis and learn skills to support your child within the home and educational setting.
Parent/Carer Sessions
When a young person is finding it challenging to sustain difficult feelings, we can often feel deskilled and helpless as a parent/carer. Therefore, we feel it is important to provide parents with the opportunity to discuss your concerns and learn how to best support the young person at this challenging time. We provide each parent with a toolkit on how to support their young person and guide you through the process.
