ABOUT
Dr Saleem is a substantive consultant respiratory physician, currently working in NHS England. He is also involved in private practice with various organisations across the country. In addition to that, he is currently working as Lead for Respiratory Services for Modality LLP. Dr Saleem has special interests in interventional bronchoscopy, sleep medicine, tuberculosis, COPD and lung cancer. He gained his experience in interventional bronchoscopy from University College London Hospitals. Throughout his career he has been involved in teaching and training of medical students and junior doctors. He had been clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors and respiratory trainees. He published various articles, participated in research projects, and conducted audits on a regular basis (related to his specialty). He is also national and international PACES examiner. In addition to this, he is working as physicians’ regional advisor for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
