Cardiology is the branch of medicine that deals with diseases and abnormalities of the heart. Our department is led by Dr Ramesh de Silva , a highly regarded and experienced specialist consultant in his field.
We specialise in diagnosing and managing cardiology-based concerns, such as;

Problems with your heart valves, blood vessels and other heart and vascular issues.
Palpitations, dizziness and collapsing.
We can order tests including electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms, and CT scans to deduce what's wrong.

We provide various echocardiograms and ECG’s that examine and track the hearts activity and help to ensure an informed diagnosis. Dr Ramesh de Silva
Dr Ramesh de Silva graduated in 1995 from the University of Leeds. Following training in general medicine and cardiology in Yorkshire, he commenced a period of research in cardiac imaging and heart failure and was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine. His speciality training in Cardiology was at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre and Glenfield Hospital, Leicester.
