At The Medic Clinic, we have introduced a brand-new service called the HydraFacial. We are one of very few clinics in Bedford providing this service with a multitude of treatment and pricing options available. We will provide a free consultation with our clinical team to help determine exactly what variation of this treatment is right for you to ensure you get the most out of your facial.

What does the HydraFacial treatment offer?

HydraFacial uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate. HydraFacial super serums are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instantly gratifying glow. Each treatment will give you instant and visible results that you can see and feel immediately.

This patented technology follows a five-step treatment process: Detox, Cleanse & Exfoliation, Extraction & Hydration, Brightening and finally Rejuvenation. Dead skin cells and impurities are removed, and the skin is hydrated with antioxidants and peptides.

Cleanse-Peel-hydrafacial-bedford
Cleanse + Peel

Uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing. Dead skin cells and impurities are gently lifted for a deep-cleansing result. The peeling process with a gently glycolic and salicylic solution helps loosen debris from your pores, brightening your skin with painless suction.

Extract-Hydrate-hydrafacial
Extract + Hydrate

A combination of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides replenish, plump, and hydrate your skin. Beta HD aids in extraction, nourishes the skin and exfoliates. It contains salicylic acid, honey extract and spiraea ulmaria flower extract. These combinations help to exfoliate, hydrate, calm and soothe the skin.

Fuse-Protect-hydrafacial
Fuse + Protect

Saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow. Blackheads and impurities in congested areas are extracted using honey extract and salicylic acid. It contains arnica (soothes the skin); miehei mocor (brighten the skin) and red algae (evens skin tone).

Rejuvenation

The HydraFacial ends with the application of red and infrared LED light to reduce redness and further stimulate collagen, supporting the natural production of vitamin D.

What active ingredients are used?

HydraFacial uses advanced, patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin and effectively deliver botanical ingredients containing nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, red algae extract, zinc, and magnesium peptides. This treatment also delivers powerful antioxidants to counteract damage from free radicals such as pollution, sun exposure and stress which can accelerate the ageing process.

What sets HydraFacial apart from other Hydra dermabrasion procedures?

HydraFacial uses a unique, patented vortex-fusion delivery system to exfoliate, extract and hydrate skin, and the spiral design delivers painless extractions.

What is a vortex-fusion technology?

The spiral design of HydroPeel tips, used in conjunction with the HydraFacial proprietary vacuum technology and serums, creates a vortex effect to easily dislodge and extract impurities while simultaneously delivering hydrating skin solutions.

HydraFacial Elite

The HydraFacial Elite delivers ingredients at a depth of 200 microns intradermally. This is 19 times more penetrative than any normal topical application of skin product. The unique spiral headed design and powerful hermetic suction of the tip provides unparalleled, non-invasive skin resurfacing.

HydraFacial FAQS

We are a Medical – Aesthetics Clinic that is CQC certified (Care Quality Commission), ensuring that our facial treatments are safe and tailored to your specific skin concern/needs. This personalisation involves the correct choice of HydraFacial tip, serums, and boosters.

  • All our HydraFacial options includes the Glycol chemical peel.
  • We are experienced delivering facial treatments, helping clients achieve fantastic results.
  • All HydraFacial patients receive complimentary support from our therapists, nurses, and doctors seven days a week.

Pre-procedure, we will explain each step of the treatment, including the scientific merit of each ingredient to be applied. Infection control is crucial for us as a clinic, and you will always be shown that the tips applied are new and brand approved.

It is also worth mentioning that we have the most recent 2022 model of the HydraFacial machine, which delivers the most superior facial on the market.

  • 6- or 12-month packages available.
  • Many 5* Google Reviews
  • Lymphatic drainage helps to eliminate toxins from interstitial fluid.
  • HydraFacial Elite removes dead skin cells, toxins, and impurities through its signature exfoliation technique.
  • The vortex tip allows for cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and extraction in one treatment.
  • Further to this, there is restoration of key ingredients including antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and peptides.
  • Overall, patients benefit from an improvement in fine lines, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and opening of clogged pores.
  • HydraFacial Elite exfoliates the skin in a superior manner to microdermabrasion and does so much more.
  • At The Medic Clinic, our HydraFacial treatment encompasses a deep cleanse, extraction of dead cells and penetrating hydration with its nourishing infusion of premium antioxidants and hyaluronic acid.
  • We believe HydraFacial Elite is better, as ingredients are customised to the patients’ needs. The vortex technology allows a deeper penetration of ingredients than a normal microdermabrasion.
  • From our experience, microdermabrasion leaves skin far redder than a HydraFacial.

    • A monthly HydraFacial is highly recommended for many of our patients. However, we understand this is not possible for all.
    • For example, if a patient would only like two HydraFacial’s a year, we would recommend that they book treatments for the end of winter and the end of summer, as these seasons can be harsh on the skin.
    • For those suffering from regular breakouts, we would recommend a treatment once a week for one month.

      • Visible skin refinement and improvement in skin tone is reported by many patients after their first treatment.
      • These results typically last at least seven days.
      • From our experience, results really amplify after the third HydraFacial.

Any patient with a rash or sunburn, and pregnant patients.

  • Shellfish allergy
  • Autoimmune disorder (excessive bruising)

HydraFacial treatments should be performed before anti-wrinkle and filler injections:

  • Post anti-wrinkle treatments, we would recommend waiting three days.
  • Post facial filler treatments, we would recommend waiting two weeks.

Your skin may peel with the HydraFacial. This is due to the Glycol peel component of the treatment. We can of course skip this step at your request.
