What is Microneedling?
Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a Skin Pen to repeatedly puncture the skin with a tiny, sterilized needle. These small wounds cause your body to produce more collagen and elastin. This heals your skin and helps create a more youthful appearance.
What is the Microneedling procedure?
- Before the treatment, a numbing cream will be smoothed onto your face so that you cannot feel the needle pricks.
- The clinician performing the microneedling will then move the Skin Pen around your face.
- The needle will make small cuts in your skin, causing minimal bleeding.
- The clinician may spread a cream or serum on your face afterwards.
