ABOUT
Dr. Grosu graduated from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania, in 2003. Following four years of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Romania, she relocated to the UK in 2007.
To enhance her expertise, Dr. Grosu served as a specialist clinical fellow at various hospitals across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Gloucester, and Hinchingbrooke. This extensive experience culminated in her appointment as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Bedford Hospital in 2019.

A dedicated member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr. Grosu is passionate about improving the safety and quality of obstetric care. She specializes in early pregnancy and fertility, offering weekly clinics to women facing these challenges. Additionally, Dr. Grosu is committed to addressing other gynaecological concerns, including chronic pelvic pain, menopause symptoms, and the care of pregnant women with medical conditions. To maintain her professional development, she regularly attends national conferences and training courses.
Dr. Grosu enjoys strong working relationships with renowned specialists in Obstetrics and Gynaecology throughout the UK, enabling her to seek expert advice and refer patients for specialized surgery when necessary. Her dedication to research is evident, as she was awarded the NIHR Greenshoots Research Award in 2023/24.
Personal history
Dr. Grosu has been married for 25 years to a mathematics teacher and is a proud mother to a son pursuing computer sciences. Family is a cornerstone of her life.
